Education & Professional Development

My work is rooted in continuing education, thoughtful observation, and a commitment to doing things the right way—not the easy way.

Over the years, I’ve invested in programs that support relationship-based training, early development, and long-term soundness in the dogs I raise and place.

That education isn’t separate from my program—it shapes how I raise, evaluate, and support every dog.

I completed over two years of study through Karen Pryor Academy, beginning with foundational coursework and continuing through the Certified Training Partner program.

That experience gave me a strong foundation in marker-based training, behavior, and relationship-focused learning—principles that directly influence how I raise and work with my dogs.

I continue my education through Karen Pryor Academy each year, staying current and continually refining my approach.

Continuing Education Philosophy

I don’t believe learning has an endpoint.

Whether through formal programs, mentorship, or hands-on experience with my own dogs, I continue to study, refine, and grow—because the responsibility of raising and placing these dogs extends far beyond any single course or certification.

Professional Memberships & Certifications

The programs and certifications below reflect both the foundation and ongoing commitment behind my program—supported by hands-on experience, formal education, and continued study in canine development and training.

Each one plays a role in how I raise, evaluate, and support the dogs in my care.

Through Madcap University’s Puppy Culture program, I’ve focused on early development, socialization, and structured exposure during the most critical stages of a puppy’s life.

This directly influences how I raise each litter—building confidence, resilience, and a strong foundation before puppies ever leave my home.

As an AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. breeder, I’m committed to a standard that prioritizes health, education, accountability, and responsibility—not just in breeding, but in the lifelong support of every dog I bring into this world.

It’s not just about meeting a standard—it’s about living it, every day, with the dogs in my care.
